Local band ROGERTHAT head overseas

At the end of the Green Room single release Tour, Rogerthat are heading back over to tour Canada, Europe and the UK, following up on their 08 visit. Before they do though, the band are playing two last shows to leave you hangin’ on.
It’s been a huge couple of months playing up to 5 nights a week on tour – at one stage driving 1,400 kilometres to a Melb gig – with (Kyuss legend), Brandt Bjork - then turning around that night and heading to Sydney to do it all over again the next day.
Even with the tour in full swing the guys have found time to finish the recording of their debut album, The Desert’s Call, Green Room is the first single from the album.
Green Room has ramped up the Rogerthat recognition factor - getting airplay on triple J, picking up single of the week at Rave magazine and being added to PBS, RTR and FBi radio.
And no Rog tour is complete without the band getting to know Albury a whole lot better – once again the ever reliable Moon bus was angle parked against an Albury kerb while the band wait for the fixer to swing by and work out how to get it purring again.
Canadian film maker Kaelen Ohm has been back on board making the clip for Green Room, it’s finished and on youtube now.
Catch the boys’ explosive live set including songs from The Desert’s Call, at one of their two gigs:
May 15th The Sands Tavern Maroochydore
May 30th Coolangatta Hotel Coolangatta
